What is a Single Mother by Choice?

In this first episode of Mocha SMC we discuss the very definition of SMC and why we think it’s high time for us to hold a Black space on this topic. In a community that has been largely dominated by the White narrative, there’s a growing number of Black women choosing this path and there are things we face as Black women that make our experience as SMCs unique.
